1. The graph below gives information about car ownership in Britain from 1971 to 2007.
The presented line chart illustrates how many percentages of cars which British households regularly use between 1971 and 2007.
It is highlighted from the given chart that while the figure for three or more carts witnessed upward trends, the proportion of no car decreased significantly over the surveyed time.
In detail, at the beginning, the percentage of no car stayed well beyond the others, at about 48%. Following that was the data of one car, two cars and three or more cars, at nearly 45%, around 7% and 1% respectively. Then, the figure for two cars increased remarkably to 26% while the proportion of no car experienced a dramatic drop to 25% in 2007. In the last year, it no longer had the highest value.
Regarding to the other categories, during the period shown, one car had its data fluctuated slightly and finally, showed a small decline by 1%. Meanwhile, the proportion of three or more cars grew up gradually by roughly 6%.
