The line graph illustrates the income of fours cafes in New York over last year and how they changed from January to December.
Overall, the earnings of The Tea Room decreased while the others had upward trends. In addition, the income of Wifi-cafe, despite starting at a relatively low level in January, rose significantly afterwards.
In January, The Tea Room’s profit stood at highest starting point, about 160,000 dollars. Although the figure reached the high of 180,000 dollars in March, it declined gradually in general to under 140,000 dollars in October. Afterthat, it plunged to approximately 40,000 dollars in December. In contrast, Internet Express’s proceeds started at second point in January at about 100,000 dollars before decreasing and nearly remaining stable at about 80,000 dollars from April to July. Finally, it gradually rose and peaked at almost 140,000 dollars in December.
Wi-fi Cafe and Cafe Cool’s incomes had similar upward tendencies. Especially, Wi-fi cafe started at third level at under 60,000 dollars in January, increased to over 180,000 dollars in December and reached the highest point at the end of the year. Cafe Cool’s profit fluctuated from 30,000 dollars in January to 60,000 dollars in November, then it suddenly rose to the peak at 120,000 dollars in December.
In conclusion, modern types of café are getting more popular instead of traditional one.
