The given charts compare the percentages of weekly journal articles by all students, PhD students, and junior lecturers at a university in Australia.
Overall, there is a huge different preference between the three groups in spending time on reading journal articles. While most PhD students tend to read the most frequency, junior lectures and all of the students spend less time on referencing learning materials.
According to the data, while there are from 1 to 5 journal articles by 67% all of the students every week, there are 5% PhD students read them, and the figure for junior lecturers is 1%. It is clear that the percentage of more than 12 week articles read by PhD students is 80%, which is the highest number in the total, conversely, only 12% of all students read over 12 articles per week, and the figure for junior lecturers is double, at 24%.
Finally, there are from 6 to 11 articles read by 75% of junior lectures a week, the figures for all students and PhD students are far lower, at 21% and 15% respectively.
