In many countries, very few young people read newspapers or follow the news on TV. What do you think are the causes of this?
What solutions can you suggest?

It is true that a lot of teenagers refuse to read newspapers or watch the news on TV in almost countries nowadays. There are various reasons why young generation don’t find interested in this activity, but parents could certainly take step to address this issue.
There are two main reasons which reduce young people’s attraction on reading newspaper and follow the news on TV. Firstly, The appearance of game online have occupied the first place in many countries, schools and houses. It not only fascinate young people but also take an amount of adults to participate in too. Because of its variety and easy to play, it plays a necessary role in real life. For example, some cases were recorded that a lot of people can spend 10 or more hours a day for playing game online, they also didn’t eat anything even. Another reason is the nonstop development of smartphone and social network around the world, this facilitates for us to access to the internet everywhere which help you to get in game, online newspaper, and online TV whenever you want. Therefore, original newspapers and television is supposed to be oblivious.
However, we can have several ways to improve a minor number of readers newspaper and follwers on TV. As a parents, I would demand that we should observe our child more frequently by spending time with them and limit their playing time on the internet and control our cellphone. In addition, we need to take our children out of home and encourage them to take part in the outside activities like playing sports, swimming, camping… which could establish some life skills for whole life. Today, people love spending time to experience on network so that we should enhance ability online connection for TV.
In conclusion, various measures can be taken to tackle the problem that are certain to the decreasing of number readers newspapers and followers on TVKindly check!
