Many people think that the main purpose of schools is to teach children to be a good citizen or worker rather than benefit them as individuals. In my opinion, I support both of these roles of schooling.
First of all, schools shape children. Every school has their own principles, especially the common rules of punctuality, clothes or so on. By comply with these regulations, children are in the first step becoming a good social member. Moreover, Schools are contracted communities where children can learn proper manners and be taught what is right and what is wrong. All of these will make citizens who behave smartly.
Secondly, schools are potential place where children are taught and practice skills and explore their strength or passions. Skills that students need to be successful such as communication skill, presentation skill and teamwork are all taught at schools. Children are even trained carefully through extra curricular activities or presentation exercise.
On the other hand, there are clearly opportunities provided to help children develop themselves. At school students are supported to express their ideas, choose to study subjects they like and join projects, clubs related to their majority, which help children thoroughly use and expand knowledge and study with happiness and energy.
In conclusion, children are benefited both individual and society aspects from school, which makes them successful intensively.Attachments:
