Topic: Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development?
In recent years, technology affects on the way people communicate with others. While relationships of people could be influenced in several ways, I consider it to be a very positive change.
There could be two main ways in which up-to-date tech technology might affect on relationships. Firstly, interacting with colleagues or friends would be more convenient due to e-mail or yahoo. While written letters only contain words, e-mails would support more tools to people like attaching data ability, linking to relevant websites. As a result, profession would be supported effectively and white-collar workers could interact with their colleagues in company from home as well. Secondly, people who live far away from home or study abroad would be less homesick due to state-of-the-art communication devices. Applications such as Skype or Facetime allows user to have a conversation accompanied with live camera.
In my view, the effects described above should be seen as progress. Users could save an enormous amount of time because the internet or telecommunications are equipped high-speed link cable which allows user stay in touch with each other clearly and quickly. People no longer have to wait for the post transfer service to receive letters after some days, even some weeks. Furthermore, a large number of chatting applications nowadays have entertaining functions such as lovely emotion icons which would help users experience interactively and feel more happy; therefore, people could chat with each other in continuous hours without boring feeling.
In conclusion, the changing ways in communication follow technology, and I believe that these developments are desirable.
