Task 2: Some people think that a huge amount of time and money is spent on the
protection of wild animals, and that this money could be better spent on the human
population. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
It is believed that the enormous funding on preserving wildlife animal should be allocated on human population. However, I concur that it is possible for the government to spend money wisely in order to benefit both animals and human population.
Firstly, the extinction of wild animals could cause significant impact on the ecological system as well as the human life. If the red list of endangered species continue to grow annually, people can face the ecological crisis which directly affect human’s survival. For example, the practice on fishing had led to exhaust fish stocks on which many communities depend on making a living. Therefore, protecting wild animals means protecting the biological diversity as well as the environment in which they live, such as rainforests.
Another advantage of investing on conserving wild animal is that it bring benefit for the ecotourism. This act certainly bring a great revenue for the economy of the country and could be used to maintained for supporting the preservation of animals. Some National parks and safaries have been constructed for the tourists to observe the animal’s wildlife. The results has been showed to increase the prosperity of numerous countries since it attracts a huge number of visitors as well as create new job oppoturnities.
In conclusion, I disagree to prioritize the resources on human population instead of wild animals since it can bring various benefits for the mankind. It is true that protecting animals means to protecting our environment and our ecosystem.[7/2/2019, 12:14:23 AM] Cám ơn các bạn!
