Subject: The computers are widely used in education and some people think that teachers do not play an important role in the classroom. To what extent do you agree?
In recent years, the computer is becoming increasingly popular in education, working and entertainment. Thanks to this device, the student has the chance to learn everything and everywhere without the teachers. While I accept that this may suit many people, I believe that the teachers always have the important role in our study ways.
On the one hand, computer has been giving many advantages for studying. The first of thing, the student could improve teamwork skills; for example: the members in group easily discuss together via software Skype or social networks whenever they want without limitation of geography. Secondly, the Internet contains a lot of human knowledge, by using computer connect to Internet, learners could extend their new knowledge such as reading the scientist newspapers, learning online courses of the universities. This usually opens to public without fees.
On the other hand, teacher always plays an integral part in education. Firstly, teachers could provide some useful advice if their students have difficulty learning something such as feedback homework, suggest crucial documents and connect other members in the group student. In addition to this, some special courses force teachers on the classroom; for example, the surgery course and the chemical experiments are high dangerous courses, so learner needs some instructions of teach to avoid unpleasant mistakes. Finally, the pupils in primary school do not have enough the capacity for learning by themselves, because they are still so young and easily distracted by games, videos. So, the teachers would encourage them to concentrate in studying.
In conclusion, it is certainly true that the computer is beneficial for the student, but this is by no means that the teacher has less important role in education.
